EMRA Round 2 · Two riders, one stopwatch
Adrian joined the 2026 campaign, Adam found the sub-minute neighbourhood and Hayano fielded twice as many excuses.
Round 2 put both established Hayano riders on the same timing sheet: Adam in Open on the ZX-10R and Adrian in Rookies aboard the unmistakable Gulf-coloured Triumph 765RS. Subtlety remained unavailable.
Adam · #33
Adam qualified with a 1:02.064, then finished 11th in class in race one. In race two he took 8th in class and found a 59.906 best lap, the first official visit below one minute this season. We checked: removing a second from a lap is considerably harder than removing a biscuit from the garage.
Adrian · #76
Adrian posted 1:02.558 in practice, finished 9th in class in race one and improved to 7th in class in race two. The best lap was 1:01.528, just quick enough to encourage optimism and nowhere near quick enough to make optimism affordable.
Both riders finished both races. The paperwork called it progress; the team called it grounds for another brew.
