Adam puts #33 on the Open podium
Third in Open, a 58.710 best lap and the sort of result that makes the excuse department consider a career change.
Round 4: the suspiciously competent bit
Sunday 2 August 2026 brought Hayano Racing back to Mallory Park for EMRA Round 4. Adam qualified the number 33 ZX-10R with a 1:01.130, then finished sixth in class in Race 1 while dropping his best lap to 58.806.
Race 2 went rather better than the team’s carefully managed expectations. Adam finished third in the Open class and improved again to a 58.710. A podium and a personal best in the same race is terribly inconsiderate when your brand strategy relies so heavily on self-deprecation.

Officially unavoidable
The result is not paddock folklore: it is sitting in the published timing sheets. Race 1 was sixth in class; Race 2 was P3. The stopwatch has spoken, the trophy is real and Adam is now contractually forbidden from describing the weekend as “not too bad.”
