Clint joined the garage, Adam delivered two class finishes and Adrian achieved both brevity and completion in the same afternoon.
Round 5 was a landmark: Hayano Racing became a three-rider team. Clint Flemming arrived with number 229 and a Kawasaki 600, immediately increasing garage capacity, workload and the number of people able to insist a problem was “probably electrical.”

Adam’s 1:00.587 practice lap put him fifth among the Open entrants. He finished 6th in class in race one with a 59.546, then 5th in class in race two with a 59.391. Two finishes, two sub-minute bests and suspiciously little material for the excuse department.

Adrian qualified on a 1:00.976. Race one ended as a DNF after three laps; race two supplied the comeback, with 11th in class and all ten laps completed. Never let it be said that number 76 cannot turn a very short morning into a full afternoon.

On his Hayano debut Clint appeared in both Open 600 and Rookies practice, recording 1:04.272 and 1:02.867 respectively. His first Open 600 race ended as a DNF after five laps, with a much-improved 1:01.772 best. The result was brief; the commitment was not.
